We are off to a very busy and beautiful Spring! I hope that you all are enjoying this ever-changing weather. We’ve been busy here in the neighborhood, and I’m excited to share some of the updates with you.

It has been a busy month around AMLD with lots of new happenings and consistent fun. We have had a little bit of something for everyone around the neighborhood, from swearing in our newest board member to the tree groundbreaking, and even the start of Open Play Pickleball. I’m excited to share some updates with you, as well as highlight some important changes to our staff.

Our January 16th meeting was long but incredibly productive. A few residents stayed with us all the way through to the end of the evening, which wrapped up after 10 p.m. Thank you all for your patience and dedication as we work to serve the district.

We’re back in action for 2025! The board has resumed our working sessions, and I’m eager to update you on what’s been happening so far in January. We are committed to making our community a great place to live, and we continue to work hard on your behalf. We’re also excited to keep working on these initiatives together and make even more progress in the year ahead.

I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season with your loved ones. As we step into the new year, I look forward to another wonderful year of optimism, joy, and growth for our neighborhood. Let's continue to come together and make this a year to remember!

As we wrapped up 2024, I'd like to share some highlights from our December board meeting. It was a month full of community spirit, progress, and heartfelt moments. 

A special highlight of the meeting was when the board paid tribute to Mrs. White for her outstanding 34 years of service to our community. Mrs. White’s contributions have been invaluable, and she will be forever missed. We wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.

As the holiday season is upon us and the year draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to share some updates from our recent Board meeting on November 14th. I’m excited to bring you news of key decisions, as well as upcoming events that offer plenty of opportunities to celebrate and connect with your neighbors. August has been a busy month for our neighborhood. We recently held a significant board meeting on August 8th and had wonderful participation from residents. The Board has been engaged in strategic planning sessions, along with one resident who came to all of them. We also have Board meetings scheduled this week!

I was delighted to see so many residents at the June 13th meeting.Your participation and thoughtful insights will be instrumental in shaping the future improvements of our cherished community assets. During the meeting, the board had an opportunity to hear a diverse range of ideas and suggestions on how we can make our pools more accessible and enjoyable for all residents, as well as how to enhance our pickleball courts to accommodate growing interest in this fantastic sport.
